Dr. Abdirashid M. Shire., Ph.D. is currently serving as the Chancellor & Chief Scientific officer of the Bureau of Forensic Science, Garowe, Puntland, Somalia. Dr. Abdirashid Shire holds a Bachelor in Biological Sciences from Lafole College of Education, Somali National University (1988); Master’s In Medical Parasitology (1995) from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), University of London; and a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology (2003) from LSHTM, University of London. Dr. Abdirashid Shire has over 30 years of work experience from world renowned education and research institutions such as: LSHTM, University of Iowa, Mayo Clinic, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health

Sciences, and Lafole College of Education.
